This project was built and designed in partnership with Base Architects for a private client. Completed in 2017, Lakeside Lodge was constructed with a timber frame structure using local products, as requested by the client. The property features Grinshill stone steps leading down to a private lake, with seamless level-threshold sliding doors to the south and west, providing light and space throughout.

The project took six months to complete, with attention paid to detail in every aspect of the build. High-quality wall and ceiling cladding, with unique feature-spacing elements, demonstrates the precision of Shingler Construction’s approach, resulting in a bespoke design of exceptional quality.

The scheme was delivered in partnership with James Roberts Interiors, who designed the internal architecture of Lakeside Lodge.
